Access  to Employment

This project identifies migrant workers across mainly Cambridgeshire and Peterborough that are not accessing employment, and offering a range of services that encourages and supports them back into employment.  Funded by ESF.

Central to this is a modular workshop approach around the core modules of IAG, clients will be able to access job search, assessment of English skills, UK labour market requirements, confidence, and crucially, a conversion of their home qualification to the UK equivalent.

All participants will where appropriate be referred to further learning opportunities (including English if needed, and any conversion courses needed for their specialisation), referred to local employment opportunities.  The development worker will case load individuals for a supportive process through the project.  CP Learning Trust has identified that 40 individuals can be helped via this project.
