CP Learning Trust evolved from the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Learning Partnerships, in response to the needs and wishes of partner providers across the county.
The Trust has worked consistently to raise capacity in lifelong learning, skills for life and qualification based provision over eight years, and has been instrumental in bidding for funding from various funding streams: European Social Fund, LSC Local Initiative Funds, Investing in Communities, Test the Town and LSC Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities Funding amongst others.
These funds have been used to develop and secure innovative learning for adults and young people across the county and to support partners to deliver courses most suitable to their client groups.
The Trust has also developed a number of training programmes for front line workers including Skills for Life Awareness, Tasters, RARPA and Screening and Initial Assessment.
